Brief AI Commentary
A long violin melody unfolds above a gentle orchestral accompaniment, revealing Shostakovich’s gift for direct lyricism. The music’s warmth carries an undertone of loss that keeps sentiment from becoming simple.
The Romance offers a self-contained moment of tenderness drawn from a larger film score, complete in less than four minutes.
